I have taken part in a variety of sports over a number of years including swimming, racquet sports, three day eventing and long distance running.

My interest in Sport & Remedial Massage therapy was first sparked following an injury I incurred.  However it wasn't until I had a long standing injury did I fully appreciate and discover how effective these treatments are for the whole body.

From this I decided to find out more and went on to study at the London School of Sport & Remedial Massage (LSSM) gaining the BETC Professional Diploma in Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage (Level 5) and the LSSM Diploma in Sport & Remedial Massage.  I am a full member of the Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage (MISRM) and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners.

I am also registered and recognised by the States of Guernsey Health and Social Services Department (HSSD) as a complimentary Health Practitioner and I am listed on their register of Complimentary Therapists.

Gaining these qualifications means that I am fully trained and qualified in various advanced techniques such as Soft Tissue Release (STR) and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), Connective Tissue Manipulation (CTM) and Neuromuscular Techniques (NMT).

Since qualifying I have gained extensive experience working with both sporting and non sporting clients.  I have also worked at a number of high profile sporting events both locally and in the UK, such as the London Marathon.

I have also continued to develop my knowledges and skills though undertaking additional qualifications in pre-natel massage, seated acupressure massage and kineso taping.
